A Lesson or Preaching?

So here was a conversation that took place on Monday evening, as we were gathered together as a family for Family Home Evening.

Marc: Okay, I guess we'll go ahead and have an activity and then a treat.
Olivia: You mean we're not having a lesson? Wow! Just the activity and treat, cool!
Marc: Mom just taught us a lesson, don't you remember?
Olivia: That wasn't a lesson, she was just preachin' the gospel! (if only I caught on tape the little dance move she did while talking...)

So, I haven't decided if that is good or bad... good that she didn't feel like she "had to sit through a lesson" or...well, I suppose I'll look at the bright side - at least she knew we were talking about the gospel, right? That could be a bad sign, though, if she feels like I'm "preachin'" !
