So we got a fun surprise in the mail shortly after the new year! It's just taken me a long time to post it!
No more are regular square waffles good enough for our kids...they love these! Enjoy the video clip and the pictures.
One of these days we'll post stuff a little more frequently than on a monthly basis. As for the family, we're moving right along, looking forward to spring and enjoying each day for the most part. I'll take any advice on balance at the moment...last night I found myself trying to be in two places at once, while I wanted to be in three places at once. Between and an enrichment activity (we're struggling to get sisters out, so I felt like I needed to be there, the topic was great so I also "wanted" to be there as well), the PTP meeting (our school's version of PTA), and wanting to be at home so the kids go to bed at bedtime and I could thus accomplish a task or two on the ever growing list of things to do/sort through/clean/organize/finish etc.
Needless to say, life is adventurous for this household, as it is in most other households as well.

Hey - what's with the comment about the first batch looking like NY???? I'm surprised the waffle maker didn't spontaneously combust! :)
Thanks for the fun video - glad you are enjoying the results.

Hey, are we going to renew our Intramural connections and do another March Madness pool?
Whoever taught your kids to put peanut butter on their waffels, has got the right idea! I love them like that and I always get made fun of for doing it. How fun!!
Marie (or whoever filled out your bracket) you are going down! I hope. Darn Wisconsin, though! That would have helped both of us out had they won today. Thanks for setting up the bracket. It's been fun.
I filled out the bracket myself (this is Marie, by the way). I can't take credit for setting up the bracket though... that was Marc's grand idea!
Sam, as for the peanut butter on waffles...I grew up doing that. Marc still thinks it's crazy, but the kids and I love it!
