So Marc and the kids really outdid themselves this year in honor of my birthday. By the end of the day, I wasn't sure I would be able to go back to "real life" the next day! To sum it all up, I don't remember doing a single bit of work/chores, etc for the entire day! Marc was Superman all day! He took all 4 kids to run errands in the morning, prepared all the meals and gave me strict instructions that I wasn't to lift a finger, but to only do things I wanted to do, ie read, sleep, etc. Anyhow, unbeknownest to me, he had arranged for a good friend to invite me to a movie in the afternoon as he needed me out of the house for a couple hours. So I enjoyed a movie w/another adult, then she surprised me and took me to get a haircut. When she dropped me off at home, I was greeted by these amazing workers/wait staff.
The living room had been transformed to a quaint little restaurant for two (well, a third person insisted on joining), complete w/menus and everything! Needless to say, it was wonderful and the kids were quite the professional wait staff, even eating their own meal, on their own, in the kitchen.

That is wonderful! I am glad you had such a fab day. All moms deserve that At Least once a year!!
That sounds like a great day but I am wondering why there are only 5 candles on your cake? My kids would never let me get away with that (nor would my hubby).
Happy B-day!
Happy Birthday to you!!! and Good Job Family! It sure reminds us that they love us!
